On the outskirts of Looe, this exciting project comprised the resurrection of a long forgotten fifties holiday village for its re-launch as the desirable Blackrock Resort.
The works involved eco-retrofitting 40 1950’s built chalets in line with current building regulations and Part L requirements whilst bringing a coherent contemporary style to the whole development by the addition of cedar cladding, glass and steel balustrades and updated interiors.
GSL were also contracted to renovate the fantastic existing saltwater lido.
“Gouldens have proven to be a particularly helpful construction partner who have done exactly as they promised on time and budget. I would say that they had gone beyond the role that I would normally expect from a contractor and the quality of the out turn has been absolutely to expectation.”
