Conversion of Listed Building

Conversion of Listed Building

The conversion of a glorious Grade II listed Victorian villa in Torquay into ten residential units, with a further addition of two new mews houses to the rear of the property.

This project was notable for the extensive negotiations required with local planning and listed building departments.

In order to comply with stringent conservation demands, great care was taken to preserve and compliment the many period details of this grand residence. GSL commissioned bespoke joinery to restore original skirting and architraves, and designed ten distinct interiors with heritage colour scheme for the individual apartments.

Many, many thanks – we are hugely grateful to you for what you have achieved and for the charm and persistent good humour with which you achieved it.
